HANDPIECE 0.6mm/0.8mm 

The AquaCare’s patented handpiece delivers a high-speed fluid stream, fed from a self-contained reservoir, to create a liquid curtain around the abrasive medium. The autoclavable handpiece comes in color-coded nozzle sizes. The long-life tungsten carbide nozzles are easily changed to suit the treatment. An entire procedure can be performed without removing the tip from the oral cavity. One handpiece supplies air, water and/or treating medium.

HANDPIECE DISPOSABLE TIPS 

Supplied in packs of 50, the disposable tips attach to the tip of the AquaCare handpiece and allow water to be drawn through to encapsulate the active Air Abrasion or Air Polishing powder, reducing dust in the air and focussing the direction and effectiveness of the treatment medium. One disposable tip is used per patient, maintaining hygiene standards and ensuring the effectiveness of the tip itself.

DESENSITISING & REMINERALISING AIR POLISHING POWDER 

Dental Air Polishing Powder for Prophylaxis, Cleaning and Polishing ‘Sylc for AquaCare’ provides an Air Polishing prophylaxis treatment that reduces dental sensitivity, with immediate effect, and also encourages the remineralisation of damaged tooth material, all with a neutral taste. Powered by NovaMin®, the powder occludes exposed dentine tubules blocking nerve access to the affected areas. Sylc is the most effective air polishing medium on the market, at ease removing both light and heavy staining. 

SODIUM BICARBONATE AIR POLISHING POWDER 

AquaCare Sodium Bicarbonate provides an Air Polishing prophylaxis treatment that is highly effective in cleaning and stain removal. The superfine particle size maintains patient comfort during and after treatment. Rethink your scale and polish routine – Air Polishing before scaling can quickly remove a lot more stubborn plaque and decay than you expect, leaving only very tough calculus to remove with a scaler

ALUMINIUM OXIDE AIR ABRASION POWDER

 The AquaCare uses AquaAbrasion™ to perform a variety of pain free minimally invasive dental treatments alongside prophylaxis as a dental prophy unit. AquaAbrasion™ eliminates the mess traditionally associated with dental air abrasion. Use AquaAbrasion™ as part of everyday cavity preparation, composite removal and as a micro etcher or dental ‘sandblaster’.
